Terms

The terms of your ride.

Effective at launch.

The service

We provide pre-arranged, chauffeured rides — not an on-demand or rideshare service.

Bigfoot Luxury Chauffeuring Service provides private, pre-arranged chauffeured transportation in Chattanooga, TN and the surrounding service area. Every ride is booked in advance and confirmed by our team. We are not a rideshare or on-demand service; we do not dispatch rides on request without a confirmed reservation. Submitting a ride request through this site is a request, not a confirmed booking — your reservation is confirmed only when our team confirms the vehicle, the price, and the pickup details with you.

Booking and confirmation

A request becomes a booking once we confirm it with you in writing or by phone.

When you submit a ride request, we contact you to confirm availability, the vehicle, the quoted price, and pickup arrangements. A reservation is binding once confirmed. Quoted prices are estimates until confirmed and may change with the final route, wait time, airport handling, late-night or holiday timing, additional stops, and special requests. You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and dropoff details, passenger count, and flight information where relevant.

Payment, deposits, and refunds

Payment is taken through Stripe; deposit and refund terms are confirmed at booking.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. A deposit may be required to hold certain reservations [client to confirm: deposit amount or percentage, if any]. The balance is due [client to confirm: when balance is due — e.g. at booking, before pickup, or after the trip]. Refunds, where due under the cancellation terms below, are returned to the original payment method. Gratuity is [client to confirm: whether gratuity is included, added automatically, or left to the passenger].

Cancellation and no-show

Cancel with enough notice for a full refund; late cancellations and no-shows are charged.

To cancel or change a reservation without charge, give us notice of at least [client to confirm: cancellation notice window — e.g. 24 hours for airport transfers, 72 hours for hourly charters]. Cancellations made inside that window may be charged [client to confirm: late-cancellation fee or percentage of the quoted price].

A no-show — failing to appear at the confirmed pickup location and time without cancelling — is charged the full quoted price. After the scheduled pickup time, your chauffeur waits [client to confirm: standard no-show grace period — e.g. 15 minutes] before the ride is treated as a no-show.

Wait time

Reasonable wait is included; extended waiting beyond the grace period is billed.

A grace period is included at pickup. For airport pickups we track your flight and adjust to the actual landing time, and we allow a longer grace period of [client to confirm: airport grace period — e.g. 30 minutes from actual landing] for the terminal and baggage. For all other pickups the included grace period is [client to confirm: standard grace period — e.g. 10–15 minutes]. Waiting beyond the grace period, and any additional stops or hold time you request, is billed at [client to confirm: wait-time rate — e.g. $X per 15 minutes or per hour].

Vehicle care, damage, and cleaning

You are responsible for damage or excessive cleaning caused during your ride.

You and your party are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused during your ride. If a vehicle needs cleaning beyond ordinary use — for example spills, sickness, or smoking in a non-smoking vehicle — a cleaning fee applies of [client to confirm: cleaning fee — e.g. $X minimum]. Repair costs for damage beyond normal wear are charged at cost. Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle. We may ask that open containers and food be handled with care or kept out of the vehicle.

Passenger conduct and refusal of service

We can decline or end a ride for unsafe, unlawful, or abusive conduct.

For the safety of passengers and chauffeurs, we may decline or end a ride if a passenger is abusive, threatening, intoxicated to the point of risk, in possession of unlawful items, exceeds the vehicle's rated capacity, or behaves in a way that endangers the vehicle or others. Every passenger must wear a seatbelt where the law requires it. We do not knowingly transport more passengers than a vehicle is rated to carry. Where a ride is ended for these reasons, the quoted price remains due.

Delays and events beyond our control

We track flights and plan generously, but some delays are outside anyone's control.

We plan routes with margin and track flights so we can adjust, and you are not charged wait-time fees for a delay we can see on a tracked flight. We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, traffic, accidents, mechanical failure, acts of government, strikes, or other force majeure events. Where weather or an emergency makes a route genuinely unsafe, we will work with you on a safe alternative or a fair adjustment.

Limitation of liability

Our responsibility is limited; we don't cover lost belongings or indirect losses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a ride is limited to the amount you paid for that ride. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including missed flights, missed connections, or missed events, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. We are not responsible for personal belongings left in or lost from a vehicle. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version is the one published on this page, and it applies to bookings confirmed after it is posted. Material changes that affect a confirmed booking will be communicated to you directly.
